The Lyne Network Values

RESPECT

This means we treat ourselves and others with respect and listen to their point of view. We respect others lived experiences as bringing unique perspectives. In partnering with others, we respect their contribution and knowledge. When somebody leaves a project, we do so considerately. We’ll tell people we are leaving and take the proper steps so others can pick up where we left off.

INTEGRITY

This means we act with integrity in all our dealings. We are accountable for our actions and we hold each other accountable. We take responsibility for our mistakes and if we offend anyone we acknowledge that, apologise and try to remedy it. We comply with all relevant legislation and safeguarding standards.

KINDNESS

This means we are kind to ourselves and others. We are empathic to others’ circumstances and challenges. We hold back judgement and show compassion. We work safely always, avoid unnecessary risks to ourselves and others, and follow health and safety practices.

COURAGEOUS

This means we stand up for others and for what we believe. It means we are willing to feel uncomfortable as we open ourselves to new possibilities. We responsibly and reliably carry out all the tasks we agree to do and notify others if or when we are unable to do so. We constructively contribute and address any issues affecting our role and the quality of our service.

CURIOUS

This means we are curious to others’ points of view. We keep an open mind and always hold the possibility that new information means we may change our minds. We acknowledge we don’t know everything. If we’re unsure we ask for help even if we feel embarrassed to ask for help. If we are asked questions we will be responsive and helpful. We seek tasks that suit our skills, interest, availability and aspirations.
